I'm getting old. I turned 32 this week.

Did I ever tell you that I had the original idea for Queer Eye For The Straight Guy? Well, kinda. Back when I first cut off my long hair, I had no idea what style I wanted it to be when it was short. I thought about going to a gay stylist, figuring this would be someone with some sense of what looks good but still a man somewhere underneath that.

Having seen the show, I now feel the results would have been disastrous. Taking it in the pooper doesn't make your opinion on style any more valid than a straight guy's. Fashionable gays are annoying. Metrosexuals are too.

Besides, they're friggin crab people!

For my next haircut, I'm going to go old school and manly. I'll let Harley Race kick my ass while holding a pair of scissors. However it comes out, it comes out.

Or maybe I'll grow it out a little long again. Who knows.
